Under the Water Fittings
Regulations you are required to tell us if
you want to install or erect:
A building
or structure
A bath with
a capacity of more than 230 litres
as measured to the centreline of the
overflow
A multi-head
shower
A pump connected
directly to a supply pipe and drawing
more than 12 litres per minute
A water softener
or reverse osmosis water filter unit
A garden watering
system unless designed to be operated
by hand
A bidet
with ascending spray or flexible hose
The construction
of a pond or pool of more
than 10,000 litres capacity
Notification
is a necessity and failure to inform your local
water company of relevant changes renders you liable
to prosecution.

a response from us within ten days of receipt.
