Where will the meter be
sited? We will carry out a survey to decide the best
place to fit your meter. This will be either inside
your property or, at the boundary to your property
in the public highway.
We will condsider
installing a meter at your preferred location if
you agree to pay any additional charges.
If we find a meter
cannot be fitted practically or at a reasonable
expense, we will advise you and may be able to offer
an alternative solution.
How long will
it take? Once we receive your signed meter application
form, we will endeavour to fit the meter as quickly
as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot fit everybody's
meter at the same time, but we do guarantee to fit
it within three months.
After installation Once you have a water
meter, we will change your account and send you
a new bill showing your closing unmetered
account and opening metered account.
We will keep your
details the same, including the way you pay though
you can choose to change
your payment method.
When we install
your water meter we leave you an information
pack that includes details about your metered
account and water efficiency.
