All water companies in England and Wales are currently developing statutory drought plans. Tendring Hundred’s draft drought plan was published for consultation between 21 April and 21 June 2006
Following the consultation period The Company has as required as part of the process made an assessment of the representation received.

The secretary of State will now decide whether a public inquiry or hearing should be held and whether to issue Directions to the Company with regard to the final drought plan.
